Jackson Hole’s uniqueness is magnified when you consider that we are virtually an inland island. Today, 97 percent of our land is forever preserved in national parks, national forests, Bureau of Land Management acreage of the National Elk Refuge and conservation lands, leaving only a small percentage available for private ownership.
