Named for an early homesteader of Jackson Hole, John Dodge was one of the earliest high-end, large parcel subdivisions west of the Snake River in Jackson Hole. A first of its type in Teton County, one of the nicest attributes for owners of real estate in John Dodge is the private access to about two miles of Snake River frontage. The John Dodge homeowners association issues a license to owners to access the Snake River for fly-fishing, cross-country skiing, wildlife watching, and hiking.
