Welcome to Tucker Ranch

With the Tetons as a majestic backdrop and the Snake River in its backyard, Tucker Ranch is a quintessential Jackson Hole property. The development comprises 197 acres directly east of the Teton Pines Resort. It is bordered on the east by the Snake River, the west by Teton Village Road, the north by Wilderness Ranches and the south by Linn Ranch. Lots range in size from 4 to 9.4 acres.

Some lots border the Snake River, although an access road sits between the building sites and the river. Tucker Ranch also is attractive to horse owners, as some of its lots can be used as pastureland.

Some homes are lakefront property. The development’s lakes are all that remains of an earlier use of the land. Some of the principals in Tucker Ranch Development Ltd. Partnership also owned Clark’s Ready Mix and had been leasing the land from the Tucker family and running a gravel mining operation.

It was the gravel extraction that created Tucker Ranch’s lakes, and ironically this manmade disruption to the land has created new wildlife habitat. Today the lakes attract all sorts of waterfowl, making Tucker Ranch a great place for bird watching.

Tucker Ranch is about 10 minutes from downtown Jackson and is also close to Teton Village and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Even more convenient for residents, however, is the neighborhood’s proximity to Teton Pines, with its 18-hole golf course and tennis courts, and the Westside shopping area, which has banks, restaurants, a dry cleaning establishment, a grocery store, and a liquor store. Tucker Ranch has paved roads and utilities. A well and septic are required.
