West of Jackson, as Highway 22 leaves the town of Jackson, it travels through the central section of the valley. Rolling foothills lined with aspen stands, fir trees and sage covered fields adorn the central valley. Lush ranch lands and protected conservation easements deliver idyllic views. Several private neighborhoods are tucked beyond the visible expanse of the highway, providing homeowners with seclusion and convenience where the town of Jackson, Teton Village and Grand Teton National park are all within a short drive.
Off of the northern side of Highway 22, Spring Gulch is a small valley within Jackson Hole that offers its own incredible backdrops, privacy and spectacular scenery. The Spring Creek Ranch and Amangani Resort are found on the eastern bench and offer a variety of property options while the historic Bar B-C Ranch lies further north along the banks of the Snake River offering a limited number of 35-50 acre ranchettes. The Stonecrop neighborhood also found in Spring Gulch, which was once part of Governor Cliff Hansen’s ranch, offers 5 tracts of land ranging from 40-50 acres.
Farther west, the neighborhoods of East and West Gros Ventre Buttes offer exceptional properties both in architectural design and setting.
Off of the western side of Highway 22, Indian Springs Ranch and Solitude neighborhoods are set among gentle hills covered in native grasses and stands of cottonwood and aspen trees. Solitude, which was one of Jackson’s first neighborhoods outside of town, where views of the Tetons and other surrounding ranges and its location made it initially desirable. Indian Springs Ranch is an exclusive gated community providing spectacular land tracts and scenery with exclusive homes. Only a few miles from town, this community feels surprisingly remote offering incredible views unique to the neighborhood.
